--- name: motion-studio description: Use when the user wants to research, storyboard, generate, edit, preview, or export an editable video in Motion Studio. Discover the current App from https://goalmatic.io/apps. --- # Motion Studio Motion Studio turns an idea or public website into an editable video project with research, scenes, sourced assets, optional generated media, and export. ## Intake Confirm the goal, audience, aspect ratio, duration, source idea or public URL, brand assets, voice, music, and desired output. Ask whether the user wants a plan, a draft, an edit, or an export. Identify the active workspace and whether the project should be saved privately. Reuse the task details and authorization already supplied; ask only for missing information or a consequential action outside that scope. Open Motion Studio from the Apps directory. Discover current research, image, narration, music, project, and export tools through the App's connected session; do not assume provider endpoints. ## Workflow 1. Inspect the brief and source material; record claims that need review. 2. Create or revise the story and scene plan before spending generation credits. 3. Review sourced assets and permissions; replace unsuitable or unverifiable media. 4. Generate optional media only after the App shows the current quote or credit confirmation. 5. Edit scene order, copy, media, timing, and animation in the visual timeline. 6. Preview the complete video, including audio, captions, aspect ratio, and safe margins. 7. Save the private project, then export the requested format and verify the resulting artifact. Completion means the project opens with the intended scenes and the export or portable project is available. A queued generation, preview, or draft does not prove that an export completed. ## Guardrails Treat public websites as source material, not permission to copy protected media or claims. Keep user assets and saved projects private unless the user explicitly shares them. Generation and export are distinct actions. The user authorizes credit-consuming generation, external asset use, sharing, and publication separately. Never publish or send a video merely because it rendered successfully. If generation fails or is interrupted, recover the project and inspect the current scene state before retrying. Use current App capability and quote information rather than hardcoded prices. ## Evidence Report the saved project, reviewed scenes, current credit confirmation, export format, and artifact status. Identify unresolved source, rights, narration, music, or provider issues. For revisions, keep the prior project version or recoverable state until the new preview passes. For brand work, identify which assets are sourced, user-supplied, or generated. For exports, check that the selected dimensions, audio, captions, and scene order match the reviewed plan. If a provider is unavailable, finish any manual edit that remains possible and report the blocked generation step. Do not silently replace a requested voice, image, or music source.
