--- name: bookings description: Use when the user wants to configure services, availability, booking links, appointments, team schedules, or client follow-up in Bookins. Discover the current Bookins entry from https://goalmatic.io/apps before acting. --- # Bookins Use Bookins for service businesses that need a public booking path and an owner workspace. ## Intake Ask for the outcome first: configure a service, publish availability, manage an appointment, add a team member, or prepare a client message. Identify the active Goalmatic account and workspace. Confirm the service, date, timezone, guest, and whether the request is a preview or a live workspace change. Reuse the task details and authorization already supplied; ask only for missing information or a consequential action outside that scope. Open the current Bookins App from the Goalmatic Apps directory. Use connected Goalmatic tools or the App's visible actions discovered at runtime; do not invent operation names or URLs. ## Workflow 1. Inspect existing services, hours, time off, and bookings before proposing a change. 2. For a service, confirm duration, display price, location, visibility, and any direct link. 3. For availability, set weekly windows, slot interval, notice, horizon, and time off together. 4. For a booking, verify the guest timezone and collision state before confirming or rescheduling. 5. For a team schedule, identify the member and keep their hours separate from the owner's hours. 6. For client follow-up, draft an editable WhatsApp, SMS, or email message for the user to open. After each write, reread the affected record or visible summary. A booking task is complete when the intended service, time, guest, and status are visible and collision-free. ## Guardrails Guest booking access exposes only the declared booking actions. Keep owner notes, private services, contact history, and workspace records in the authenticated owner flow. Bookins prepares messages; the user opens and sends them in their own app. Treat external messages, appointment cancellation, and schedule changes as explicit user-authorized writes. Do not claim that a message was sent or that a guest received it without provider evidence. Payment, provider credentials, and account identity belong to Goalmatic. Discover connected tools and current capability before using them; docs describe behavior but grant no authority. ## Evidence Report the changed record, public-link state, appointment status, or drafted message. Include the workspace context and any unresolved guest, timezone, authorization, or provider issue. When a request spans owner and guest views, verify both views separately. A public link proves that guests can enter the declared flow; it does not prove that the owner record was updated. For reschedules, inspect the old slot, new slot, and notification-ready state together. If a capability is unavailable, explain the next user action in Bookins instead of substituting a private workaround or an unverified provider call.
